DSW explainer videos (A case study)
DSW came to us with the challenge of creating educational videos about shoe care that were actually interesting. We ended up making their highest performing videos ever.
WE LIKE DETAILS
While keeping on brand we wanted to push the artistry as much as possible to make something engaging and unexpected, all centered around a few simple ways to take care of your shoes. We thought through every possible facet of the viewing experience, the angles, the light, the transitions, hand drawn elements, 2d animation, even the frame rate, giving these an animated feel throughout.
TARGETED FOR THE RIGHT AUDIENCE
Obviously we care about the fine tuning of the creative, but it’s all filtered through the lens of DSW’s audience. Every touch speaks to their new generation of shoe buyers. And with the highest click through and completion rate of any of their videos, we’d say it was successful.
